The last quarter of 2011 was very busy with more deals done than expected right up to Christmas Eve, this was mainly due to the excellent campaign offered by Mercedes, BMW and Audi along with our many "Special Offer" vehicles which our Leasing companies have invested in and will continue throughout 2012.

Many of the Manufacturers have held off increases with the exception of a sudden notification from Mitsubishi announcing there increases across the board. With this in mind Manufacturers are very up beat about the industry being very bouyant over the first quarter of this year and will look to continue with good rates and reducing lead times for factory orders.

Personal Contract Hire funding has increased better than expected in 2011 and is certainly proving the way forward as a cost effective funding option for obtaining a new vehicle.

Over the coming weeks we will see many manufacturers releasing there new 2012 model year vehicles and the first of these is Toyota with the New Yaris model which looks bigger and better equiped and will certainly be a main contender in the leasing market.

The first shipment arrived on Nissan’s pioneering energy-saving, eco-friendly transport vessel ‘City of St Petersburg’, which is also carrying the new LEAF models bound for Ireland.
